You know, it’ a measure of just how far behind I am with blogging, that I still have 23 weddings from this year that I need to publish after this one. Still, at least with the main wedding season now pretty much over for this year, the old blog may indeed receive some attention :-).

Today, I’m very pleased to take you back to July, yes July, on a beautiful sunny day (where have those gone) when I shot Josie & Kenny’s wedding at the wonderful Culcreuch Castle in Fintry where, by chance, I will be again tomorrow (or some day in the past depending on when you read this). The day started at Culcreuch for the bridal prep but I then headed off to St. Jude’s in Glasgow for the ceremony and, although photography was not permitted for a large part of the ceremony, we got some great reportage shots outside before heading back to Culcreuch for the main family group shots and the main bride & groom pictures.

I love shooting at Culcreuch, tucked away as it is seemingly in the middle of nowhere :-). Tree lined driveways, a lake, old buildings and even a forest – more places in fact than you actually have time to shoot in…but that’s a good thing!

Josie & Kenny – a big big thank you for asking me to photograph your wedding day – here’s just a few of my own personal favourite images from the day which I hope you like.
