I always take a couple of weeks off at the start of July – school holidays, a chance to get away from it all for a bit etc etc, so Louise & Ben’s big day on the 1st July was my last before the break, kind of like a half way point through the wedding season … and what a fabulous way to reach “half-time” :-).
This was my first visit to The Walled Garden in Kincardine but hopefully not my last! I must have driven past the road to the place countless of times without realising it was there, pretty close that it is to home. My day kicked off though a bit further afield, as I headed down to the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry for the bridal prep before heading back to Kincardine to catch up with the guys and get myself set for the rest of the day.
As usual, I adopted my relatively low-key approach to shooting the day – strictly documentary with a brief pause for a handful of group shots and two short couple shoots, one before and one after dinner taking full advantage of the glorious srroundings … and battling with the wind LOL (which did make for some interesting shots!). All round … a truly wonderful day!!!
OK guys, I’m not Shakespeare, so enough waffle from me, on with the pictures …
Louise & Ben, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like. But please do let me know what you think – there’s a space for comments below the pictures :-).

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
Not sure if this is for you? Why not check this out for more details!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
