Well it’s been a few days since my last blog post…and for good reason as I’ve just had a few cheeky days away at Center Parcs – we all need a break at some point I guess, and here I am now all ready and set for the final dozen weddings of the year…yep, I still have that many to shoot before we hit 2020!
So anyway, back to Bethany & Gregor’s big day on a truly fabulous summer’s day back in June :-). First up, it was great to see so many familiar faces as I’d shot a few friends weddings previously…always a great endorsement and I guess I must be doing something right…hope so, at least LOL.
As usual, my day started with bridal prep (and also a little bit of groom’s prep too as the guys were close by), before heading off to the very picturesque location of Culross for the ceremony at Culross Abbey…always a pleasure to shoot these ceremonies…so joyful and uplifting :-). We used the Abbey grounds for the group shots before heading down into the village for our first bride & groom shoot of the day…you know I like to keep it short though guys as I don’t want to keep anyone away from the party!
Then off to the Hilton at North Queensferry for the reception, my first ever visit there, set as it is next to the Forth bridges, naturally too good an opportunity to pass up on as we headed out for our second (but still short LOL) couple shoot of the day after dinner. As usual, the pictures very much tell the story of the day better than me…

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?

Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). So, here we go, up until Sunday 27th October, all couples that book with me will receive a complimentary pre-wedding shoot, which is a great way of us getting to know each other and just getting a feel for which type of pictures you like and also those that you don’t – it’s basically a win-win come the wedding day. Oh and you get to keep all the pictures from the shoot too.
The total cost of the above is usually £250 but, hey guys, it’s free until Sunday…along with a booking of course :-).
And that’s not all – also included is a fabulous 24″ x 20″ signing frame using your chosen picture from the shoot, which I bring along on the wedding day for all your guests to leave their good luck messages and the like…
