Contrary to what you might think, the few days between Xmas and New Year are a pretty popular time for weddings, and I often end up shooting at least two, if not more. Last year was no different and, for my penultimate wedding of the year, I was back on my second visit to the Hilton North Queensferry for Holly & Joel’s big day … and what a day!
Before the wedding, we’d arranged a pre-wedding shoot, which is always a great way of getting to know a couple, as well as taking some pictures of course, so I kind of knew it was going to be a good one … and I wasn’t wrong – just that perfect mix of everyone having a total blast with just a wee bit of time set aside for some set up shots … and it would be wrong of course, being in that part of the world, not to venture out to the bridges too!
The guys were very kind enough to send me some very nice words about the day (and their wedding album which they’ve already received – thanks guys for being so on the ball with getting that done so quickly :-), that probably sum things up better than I can …
We were absolutely blown away by our wedding album … the box and the inserted picture were amazing.
The album itself was fantastic and it has been so lovely to reminisce of our happy day. Especially when we’ve missed being close to those we love most.
Our parents loved the mini albums too.
Thank you so much for all you’ve done to make our day so special.
Holly & Joel
Thanks guys! You probably know by now that my shooting style on the day is very documentary, very observational, capturing real stuff not “fake”. Anyway, no more waffle … as usual, I’ll let the pictures tell the story.
Holly & Joel, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing day! Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like. Oh, and stay safe people :-).
Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
Despite the current lockdown guys, I am very much still working so, if you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021, 2022 & even 2023!…but I do have a very limited number of “off peak” 2020 dates still available too (though not many Saturdays!)
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Oh, and please do feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I do really love to know what you think :-).
Mike :-).
