Well it’s been quite some time since I featured any wedding album designs on the blog – just seemed to be one of those things that went a bit “by the by” but, given that more than half the couples that book with me do opt for an album package, it seems only right to start posting again as it’s a great source of inspiration for them when starting to consider their own design.
I only ever use albums from Graphistudio in Italy, one of, if not the best, wedding album manufacturers in the world. As well as the range of albums they offer, the options in terms of materials and colours are staggering, not withstanding the option to fully customise the album to your own taste – basically, if you can draw it on paper, Graphistudio can print it on the album – I don’t know of any other lab that can do that!!!
Today then, I’m featuring the latest album to arrive at the door from Louise & David’s big day at the fabulous Cornhill Castle back in 2022 – yes, 2022 I hear you say … well, sometimes everyday life just takes over after the wedding day and couples put their album design on the backburner – good thing is, with me, there is no time limit in designing the album so happy days!
If you want to see what the day itself looked like, then why not jump into the blog post that I put up a short time after the wedding – you can find it here …
For their album, the guys opted for a 50 page Young Book album and kept it pretty minimalist with everything in white leather save for their names and date which were added to the cover of both the album and box in a raised gold foil finish. The whole album/box combo was finished off with a white ribbon.
Here’s a little slideshow with some pics of the actual album followed by the design itself.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you like … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
The Pictures
Looking for Cornhill Castle Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?
If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! Find out more here about the way I work.
For the past three years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands :-).
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2026 & 2027 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
