Really on a roll today guys with blogging and here we have my second post of the day. This time, I’m very pleased to be sharing some images from Lynsey & Derek’s pre-wedding shoot that we did up at Stirling University a few weeks back. And, wouldn’t you know it, well, you probably would, it was raining yet again. The guys are getting married in a few weeks time at Glenbervie House, my local venue, and that will be the first of a triple header of weddings that I’ll be shooting that week – good job I’m off on my hols shortly after then :-).
I’ve shot quite a few pre-wedding shoots (and weddings) in the Stirling Uni grounds and it offers a lot – unfortunately, not too much in the way of cover though from the elements, which I’m sure didn’t stop at all during the shoot. But, as I always say, no point postponing because of a wee spot of rain – the wedding day could be like that (although naturally you hope it isn’t) and we can’t move that date. If anything, bad weather just drives out the need to search for new areas to photograph in, such as what appeared to be an old car-port that we found, providing a touch of shelter and enough shade to do some flash-lit shots – shots that I’m sure we probably wouldn’t have done had it been bright and sunny, so it’s not all bad :-).
